Chronicle of the Week: A great, great Cornas!

With just over 100 hectares in production, the Cornas appellation remains discreet and confidential.
David Reynaud’s Cornas “Rebelle” is a sensational wine, produced from a 60-year-old Syrah vine grown on stiles.
Planted on a south-facing granite coulée at an altitude of 250 meters, this “Rebelle” cuvée is aged for 2 years, including 12 months in barrel, then 12 months in concrete ovoid vats.
Rich and suave, with hints of pepper and violets!
Our thanks to @domainelesbruyeres, whose wines we now represent with joy and passion!
