Weekend Tasting: At the foot of the Moulin à Vent

Located in Romanèche-Thorins, south of the Moulin à Vent appellation in the Beaujolais region, Domaine des Pierres Roses was created in 2009 by Thibault Liger Belair, driven by his curiosity and love of Gamay.
Already the owner of a family estate in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Thibault immediately reproduced his Burgundian working methods: biodynamic viticulture, soil cultivation, whole bunch vinification, careful ageing and parcel-based production.
We were utterly seduced by the depth and voluptuousness of these wines, the perfect illustration of the domaine’s state of mind, a skilful combination of elegance and power.

Join us at the Boutique this Friday and Saturday to discover two sumptuous Moulin à Vent interpreted by Thibault Liger Belair, both graceful and profound:
DOMAINE DES PIERRES ROSES| Moulin à Vent “Champ de Cour” 2019
DOMAINE DES PIERRES ROSES | Moulin à Vent “La Roche” 2017

“I was lucky enough to spend part of my studies in the Beaujolais region, so I’ve always kept in mind the idea of creating an estate on a Beaujolais cru.”
