Weekend Tasting: Domaine de Montmain, conviviality and great wines

Perched in the hills behind the villages of Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the picturesque village of Villars-Fontaine, Domaine Montmain is one of the institutions of the Hautes-Côtes vineyards.
Founded in 1973 by Bernard Hudelot, emeritus scientist and professor of oenology at Dijon University, it was one of the key players in the replanting of the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits vineyards from the 1960s onwards.
Now brilliantly led by Mathieu Piécourt and Yoan Vernus, the domaine produces wines with excellent ageing potential, which are still sold mainly in France and to private customers.
Off the beaten tourist track, passion, conviviality and a warm welcome have made Domaine de Montmain one of the region’s finest wine tourism addresses.

Join us at the Boutique this Friday and Saturday to discover the style of Domaine de Montmain through two splendid white Burgundies combining authenticity and finesse:
DOMAINE DE MONTMAIN | Bourgogne Aligoté 2018
DOMAINE DE MONTMAIN | Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Blanc “Le Clos du Château” 2020

“The spirit of wine is conviviality, sharing and love of taste.
