Weekend Tasting: Domaine Duclaux, life on the slopes
Located at the southern end of the Côte-Rôtie appellation, on the border with Condrieu, Domaine Duclaux has been established in the village of Tupin-et-Semons since the late 1920s.
Today, brothers Benjamin and David Duclaux are the brilliant ambassadors of the estate created by their great-grandfather in 1928.
Rich in heritage, they cultivate their 5.8 hectares of vines entirely by hand, literally “clinging” to the hillsides of Côte Rôtie and Condrieu.
The Gneiss terroirs here give birth to wines of finesse and character, combining balanced textures and aromatic depth without any artificial ageing.
Join us at the Boutique this Friday and Saturday to discover two North Rhône gems signed Benjamin and David Duclaux, all finesse and intensity.
