Located in the charming little village of Ligny-le-Châtel, on the right bank of the Serein, at the northern end of the Chablis appellation, Domaine Garnier is run by two passionate brothers, Xavier and Jérôme Garnier.
While Jérôme is in charge of the cellar and marketing, it’s his brother Xavier who looks after the 30 hectares of vines in an environmentally-friendly, organic way.
We’re under the spell of their skilful ageing techniques, with an intelligent blend of vats and barrels, giving their wines a generous yet invigorating style.
Xavier and Jérôme have perfectly harnessed the natural mineral and limestone character of the Chablis soils to the richness and complexity of their cuvées.
