Weekend Tasting: Domaine Jacqueson, 3 generations of success

Located in the heart of the small winegrowing village of Rully, Domaine Paul et Marie Jacqueson is one of the Côte Chalonnaise’s flagship addresses, and an integral part of its development!
Indeed, the Jacqueson family has done much to enhance the reputation of the Côte Chalonnaise, first with Henri Jacqueson, who founded the estate in 1946, then his son Paul, and now his children, Marie and his brother Pierre.
These three generations have never ceased to improve the quality of their wines, consistently producing some of the finest in Burgundy, and we’re delighted with the 2020s!
The domaine currently has 18 hectares of vines, mainly in Rully, but also in Mercurey and Bouzeron, almost equally divided between the two colors: 55% reds and 45% whites.

Join us at the Boutique this Friday and Saturday to discover two shades of Mercurey Premier Cru red interpreted by the excellent Domaine Paul et Marie Jacqueson.

“We haven’t revolutionized anything because we are lucky enough to have a father who was already making very good wines and who was particularly avant-garde in his day.”
