Chronicle of the Week: Domaine Lafarge

Located in Beaune, on the upper part of the hillside, in the exact northern extension of the famous Clos des Mouches, the Premier Cru “Clos des Aigrots” rests on a light clay-limestone soil with a deposit of limestone pebbles.
A true Volnaysian institution, Domaine Michel Lafarge owns 23 ares of Chardonnay planted in 1988, producing a beautifully balanced, energetic, intense and chalky white wine.
One of the appellation’s finest examples!
Many thanks to @domaine_michel_lafarge, whose wines we represent with joy and passion!
