Weekend Tasting: “Domaine Laurent Tribut, accomplished Chablis”

Located in the small village of Poinchy just outside the town of Chablis, Domaine Laurent Tribut has 7 hectares of Chardonnay on Kimmeridgian marl and limestone soils.
Laurent Tribut doesn’t come from a winemaking family, but he married Marie-Clotilde Dauvissat, René’s daughter and Vincent Dauvissat’s sister, from whom he receives some prestigious Chablis plots.
Trained for ten years by René and Vincent Dauvissat, Laurent Tribut is now flying high in the same spirit as the wines of Chablis fame.
His winemaking is identical, albeit in a slightly warmer cellar, where aging in used barrels can last a little less time too.
The short range of 4 wines, Chablis Village, Premiers Crus Beauroy, Montmains and Côte de Léchet, are of exceptional quality, with deep substance and great elegance.
Although little publicized and cultivating a certain form of discretion, Domaine Laurent Tribut is, for us, one of the appellation’s Pantheon producers.

We look forward to seeing you at the Boutique this Friday and Saturday to discover with us two top-class Chablis, deliciously lively, precise and saline:
DOMAINE LAURENT TRIBUT – Chablis 2021
DOMAINE LAURENT TRIBUT – Chablis 1er Cru “Beauroy” 2021
