Located in the heart of the small village of Fuissé, Domaine Thibert offers a wide range of Mâconnais terroirs, from Saint-Véran to Pouilly-Fuissé, Loché and Vinzelles, as well as Mâcon-Fuissé, Prissé and Verzé. “Each soil corresponds to a particular type of work,” emphasizes Christophe Thibert.
Born into an eight-generation winemaking family, Christophe Thibert and his sister Sandrine have been at the helm of the Thibert family estate since 1991.
Covering 29 hectares, 95% of which is planted with Chardonnay, Christophe Thibert works his white wines with intelligence and common sense.
The range is remarkable, reflecting the true expression of each of the estate’s terroirs. Purity, maturity, mastery of long ageing and great ageing potential are the hallmarks of the cuvées from this estate, which continues to go from strength to strength.
