Perfection is our credo: Salon is no exception in its pursuit of excellence, producing one of the most coveted champagnes in the galaxy.
Founded in 1920 by Aimé Salon, this world-renowned Champagne house pursues its rigorous commitments and dreams of quality as it did from day one. Uniqueness is the hallmark of this extraordinary champagne: originally made by one man, it comes from a single terroir, the Côte des Blancs, a single cru, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a single grape variety, Chardonnay, and a single year. This precision continues in the ageing process, where Salon champagne is only unveiled to the general public after 10 years’ ageing in its cellars.
Owned by Laurent Perrier along with Delamotte, Salon preserves its uniqueness year after year and pursues its quest for perfection by keeping its history alive. This history is indeed present in its cellars, where a few bottles of the 37 vintages produced during the 20th century can still be found.
