The name of this Champagne producer with his assertive style and boundless energy has been on everyone’s lips for some years now.
Just a few kilometers from the magnificent city of Reims, the estate covers 4 hectares and is located in the village of Ecueil, a Premier Cru of the Montagne de Reims. Passionate about soccer, Frédéric Savart once considered making it his profession. But the call of the vines was stronger, and he took up the reins of the family estate with enthusiasm and determination. Wishing to preserve the expression of the vines and of nature, Frédéric Savart puts himself at the service of terroirs. Far from the standardization that was once legion in Champagne, each cuvée reflects the place where it was born, and the winemaker is merely a benevolent companion, favoring an organic approach in the vineyard and gentle vinification in the cellar.
The champagnes he produces are concentrates of intensity and balance. Frédéric Savart’s dynamism is unparalleled, and today he is one of the winegrowers driving the Champagne revival.
