Vinification: Hand-picked only, whole harvest, fruit put into vats without crushing, short vatting time, then gravity-fed into barrels, where malolactic fermentation takes place – the proportion of new barrels is low (30%). Bottling takes place in March

In existence since 1858, thanks to the merger of plots from two different families, the estate was previously called “Domaine Arnoux” and was run by Charles Arnoux. Since 2011, Charles Lachaux has represented the fifth generation at the head of the estate, passionately carrying on the family tradition. The domaine produces exceptional wines, all from legendary terroirs such as Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Echezeaux and Latricières-Chambertin, treasures that the family wishes to preserve with the utmost respect. Charles, in his perpetual quest for excellence, never ceases to dazzle us with his meticulous attention to detail and judicious choices, elevating the domaine to the forefront of Burgundy.
