Cécile Tremblay was not destined to become a winemaker, but life intervened, to the delight of lovers of elegant, racy Pinot noir.
Founded in 2003, Domaine Cécile Tremblay has been steadily raising the quality of its wines ever since, to reach the pinnacle of Côte de Nuits wines. A great-niece of the famous winemaker Henri Jayer, Cécile Tremblay shares her grandfather’s sensitivity to terroir and environment. Vinification with unstemmed grapes brings precise balance and a velvety texture to wines bursting with energy and finesse. The wines produced in 11 different appellations are remarkably consistent. Cultivated like a garden, the Domaine’s 4 hectares of vines are tended with the greatest care, giving birth to wines that are the perfect reflection of their noble terroirs of origin. Enchanting and ethereal, Cécile Tremblay’s wines continue to delight wine lovers the world over.
