The result of the split of Domaine Louis Carillon between two brothers, Jacques and François, Domaine François Carillon appeared on the Burgundy wine scene in 2010. Wine has been an integral part of the Carillon family history since the 16th century when Jean Carillon was first recorded producing wine. More than a passion, wine is a heritage.

Located in the heart of the village of Puligny-Montrachet, the Carillon family’s passion for wine and working the soil is almost innate, and François is no exception. Vintage after vintage, he strives to let the Chardonnay grape shine through in cuvées of remarkable precision and purity. Respect for the environment in its entirety and the desire to always give the best are values dear to the domaine. Herbicides are totally banned, and treatments (mostly natural) are used only in cases of extreme necessity. Everything is done to ensure that the living expresses itself loud and clear. The grapes, thus pampered, reveal sweet juices and exemplary ripeness.
All the grapes, from different parcels, receive the same care and attention in the cellar. All cuvées are matured on lees and in oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months. The result is wines that combine finesse, depth, vivacity and character.
The best that Chardonnay can give, Domaine François Carillon knows how to capture and bottle it.
