At the heart of the Chambolle-Musigny winegrowing landscape, Domaine Roumier sets the standard for revealing the superb terroirs that make up the estate.
Founded in 1924 by Georges Roumier, Christophe, his grandson, took over the reins of the estate in the early 1980s to produce the racy, elegant wines we know today. Adopting a meticulous, common-sense approach to viticulture, Domaine Roumier uses no inputs and makes every effort to ensure that the quality of the grapes harvested is the source of all attention in the winery. Gentle pressing, temperature-controlled vinification and ageing in oak barrels round off this caring approach. The wines produced are among the finest expressions of the Côte de Nuits. Combining finesse and assertive personality, each cuvée arouses intense emotion and leaves a lasting impression. Great wines for laying down, with a well-deserved worldwide reputation.
