Established in Gevrey-Chambertin since the end of the 19th century, Domaine Harmand-Geoffroy boasts a magnificent assortment of old vines, all in this prestigious Côte de Nuits appellation. Over 9 hectares, the grapes harvested are all a reflection of their terroir and the care taken by their owner.
Philippe Harmand-Geoffroy is the fifth generation to run the family estate, and he has inherited from his forebears a respect for the soil and reasoned vine-growing practices, in keeping with the rhythm of the vine’s life. No insecticides or acaricides are used on the estate’s rows; the plant is accompanied to give the best of itself. The result is wines “gorged” with terroir, combining aromatic intensity and textural finesse. The balance is just right, and the wines are vibrant. The domaine’s wines remain at the top of the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation, successfully sublimating it. The emotion is there at every tasting, and we are happy and proud to present these bottles with their unique personalities.
