The story of this legendary Chambolle-Musigny estate began in 1863 with Frédéric Mugnier’s creation of the domaine, which has since become an icon on the international wine scene.

Rich in an intense family history, divided between liquor making, the founder’s primary profession, and the farming of certain parcels, Domaine Mugnier is today managed by Frédéric Mugnier, the fifth generation to head the estate, who makes the terroirs he has inherited shine. Today, the wines have acquired a solid reputation. The initiative of the winemaker and his team is to preserve the best that nature has to offer, while protecting the purest possible expression of each terroir. Faithful to this noble cause, the domaine gives birth to unique creations with an emphasis on fine texture and intense aromas. The estate’s wines are enchanting, and the rarity of the bottles they produce only reinforces their appeal.
