The Bouley family’s passion for the vine has been handed down from generation to generation. Founded by Jean-Marc (father) in 1974, his son Thomas joined the domaine in 2002, before taking over the reins himself in 2012. Located in Volnay, the domaine produces singular wines, faithful to the terroirs that gave birth to them.

Respectful of nature and the life of the soil, the Bouley family pays particular attention to vineyard work. Weedkillers and chemical fertilizers are prohibited, allowing the development of a balanced microbial life, conducive to the growth and ripening of healthy grapes. The 8.8 hectares of vines are pampered like their own garden, and the wines produced are among the most expressive and authentic in the Volnay appellation. The village wines are accessible and very fruity, while the Premiers Crus reveal a slightly fleshier but still elegant body. All the wines are wonderfully accessible in their youth, without detracting from their wonderful ageing potentials.
