The history of the Droin family is closely linked to that of Chablis. Established on these lands since the early 17th century, the family has never ceased to put itself at the service of the grapes that nature is kind enough to bestow upon it each year.

With a National Diploma in Oenology and fourteenth generation at the head of the estate, Benoît Droin continues the family winemaking tradition with talent. Perseverance and passion are the watchwords at Domaine Droin. With its rich diversity of soils, Domaine Droin magnifies the finest terroirs of Chablis. The parcellaires would make any lover of the region green with envy: nine Premiers Crus and five Grands Crus give birth to wines with assertive personalities. Respect for the expression of each parcel is the priority, and human intervention is at the service of this ideal. The soil is constantly worked to ensure the best possible reproduction of its major characteristics. The wines combine finesse, complexity and generosity to offer undeniable pleasure. Accessible when young, they reveal their full potential after a few years’ cellaring. At the pinnacle of the Chablis appellation, Benoît Droin retains the humility and simplicity of ingenious people who know they are doing the right thing.
