The Côte de Beaune is bursting with talented winemakers. Among them, Thierry Pillot and his sister Chrystelle hold an exceptional place, and their wines are nothing short of magical.

The fourth generation of a winegrowing family, the story began differently. At the end of the 19th century, Jean-Baptiste Pillot, tired of making barrels, decided to devote himself to growing vines and making wine. Domaine Pillot only really took off in the 1960s, with the arrival of Paul Pillot at the helm. The acquisition of some of the finest Premier Cru vineyards on the Côte de Beaune helped establish the estate as a benchmark in the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation.
Today, run by Paul’s children Thierry and Chrystelle, the estate represents a fine blend of tradition and modernity. With Thierry in charge of vinification and Chrystelle in charge of vineyard work and communication, the duo is highly efficient and devilishly talented. Thierry and Chrystelle refine the style of their wines to allow the terroir to express its full personality, guided only by respect for plants and the environment. The right ripening of the grapes and the optimal concentration of flavors give the wines a magical, intense aromatic quality. Every wine tasted is an exceptional experience, and the domaine never rests on its laurels. Each vintage surpasses the last, and we are delighted to be able to present these stunningly sincere wines again this year.
