4th generation at the helm of a family estate firmly rooted in the Burgundy wine scene, Christophe Perrot-Minot is making the estate’s wines known the world over.
When he took over the domaine in 1993, Christophe Perrot-Minot brought a touch of modernity while preserving the work already done by his parents, and the generations before them. Cherishing the estate’s 13 hectares of vines, he chooses to complement this heritage by sourcing grapes from producers who share his convictions and principles of respect for biodiversity. This part of the business enables him to magnify grapes from prestigious plots such as Chambertin, Chapelle-Chambertin and Clos de Vougeot.
With seven years’ experience as a wine broker, he has a global vision of the world of wine, enabling him to put forward his own style and vision of great wines. The wines speak for themselves, revealing unrivalled elegance and concentration.
A vineyard with a unique blend of grape varieties, Pinot Noir reveals its nobility here and benefits from a culture based on listening to and respecting the living world. The grapes are then vinified separately, according to their parcel of origin, to allow the best possible expression of their history.
Convinced that wine should reveal the purest expression of its terroir, Christophe Perrot-Minot has chosen to highlight the specificities of two parcels, La Combe d’Orveau in Chambolle Musigny and the 1er cru La Richemone in Nuits Saint Georges, through the creation of Ultra cuvées. Each of these cuvées brings together grapes from the same parcel, from a specific soil typicity that the winemaker has chosen to highlight. A pure concentrate of taste and terroir, all cuvées, and especially the Ultra cuvées, reveal finesse and depth.
