Fourth generation at the head of the domaine (originally named Domaine des Tilleuls), Damien and his sister Hélène offer us wines of exceptional purity and uprightness.
The family winegrowing history began with Philippe Livera’s grandfather in the early 20th century and continued when he took over the estate in the 1980s. Since then, the wines have constantly improved in quality, while preserving the fundamental values that characterize them: tradition is at the service of the vines, allowing them to flourish without ever becoming interventionist. Optimum ripening of the grapes is the priority, and every effort is made to serve this noble cause.
In the cellar, respect for the grape is always at the forefront, and understanding the terroir is a priority. Fermentations are carried out using the yeasts naturally present on the grape skins. After fermentation, the wines are aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 1 year, often up to 18 months. This long ageing, partly in new barrels, gives the wines excellent ageing potential for those who know how to be patient.
Thus pampered, the wines reveal their purity and depth. Inspired by his illustrious neighbors such as the Dugat family and Arnaud Mortet, Damien Livera delights us with wines that are frank and proud of their terroir. Each bottle reveals its secrets and delights us.
