Domaine Ponsot is one of Morey-Saint-Denis’ outstanding references, producing wines of exceptional quality and consistency since the end of the 19th century. With a very high proportion of Grands Crus (80%), the domaine’s range of terroirs never ceases to amaze.

Having left the domaine in 2017, Laurent Ponsot has contributed to the growth and renown of the estate, particularly in terms of wine protection and traceability. Currently at the head of the estate, Rose-Marie Ponsot continues the work of her brother Laurent, assisted by Alexandre Abel. With a wealth of experience as an oenologist in countries as diverse as Chile, the United States, France, New Zealand and South Africa, Alexandre Abel brings a sharp eye and a new lease of life to the estate’s wines. Clos de la Roche, the jewel in the crown of the domaine, seduces us with its authenticity and concentration. The white Morey Saint Denis Premier Cru Les Monts Luisants remains the “eccentric” of the domaine, with its grape variety composed exclusively of Aligoté, an exception in the Côte de Nuits wine landscape. All the estate’s wines impress us with their generosity and identity. We are sure you will be thrilled when you open these bottles.
